ABOUT ME
My name is Rod and I’ve lived in Exeter all my life. I’ve been in the construction industry for over 25 years. Along the way I gained a love of natural wood and the beauty it can add to your home. During Covid I built the Wild Wood Devon workshop and developed the processes we use today of combining coloured resins with the beauty of the natural hard woods.
With the support of my wonderful wife Niki and our adorable Welsh border collie Cassie, Wild Wood Devon has flourished into my full time occupation where I get to produce beautiful hand made items every day in the glorious county of Devon.

Wild Wood Devon is a family run business in the heart of Devon.
The majority of our timber is sourced from a sustainable forestry company just 15 miles from our workshop, ensuring we support local business and obtaining some of the highest quality timber, with the lowest carbon footprint. We incorporate various types of wood with high quality resin and mica colour pigments, which in turn creates a wonderful combination.
Most of our items we make to order, as we find our customers like to choose the array of resin colours themselves. Manufacturing items from live edge timber & resin is a timely process, as the timber needs to be at the correct moisture level and the resin has a cure time of approximately 1 week before we can begin to finish the product to our high standards, due to this manufacturing is normally around 14 to 21 days from order placed.
